Re: Release strategy for Auto PO created at time of GR

I am not sure if you would require a release strategy for a PO for which a Goods Receipt has been completed already.

I would suggest you to check the following parameters also.

1. For creating an Auto PO from a GR, Info record, assignment of Standard Purch. Org. to plant,Auto PO indicator in Material master, Auto PO indicator in Vendor master is must.

2. Please check the parameters like the Purch. Org, Purch. Group in the  Auto PO created and validate the same with the manual PO created.

3. Please check all the parameters as there may be atleast one parameter that is different from the one you have create manually.

4. I would suggest an additional check. Just try changing the Auto PO with a higher quantity so that value increases and see if Release Strategy is triggered. If it Triggers, then it should be a standard functionality that if a PO is created from a GR, then there will not be any Release Strategy for it(Unless changed manually)
