Hi Balaji,

I had the same requirement and I will share what I did. Actually their requirement is, there are few employee group like consultant and contractors who should be in the company org- structure but they won't get pay from the SAP payroll and also any benefit like other employees( ex. Absence quota etc).only purpose is they want to get the attendance via IT2011 and calculate the Over time.( positive time)

 

I did 3 things to separate these employees .

 

01.create separate employee group/ sub group for them since which will be easy to get any reports ( head count) based on EG/ ESG wise.

 

02. create separate payroll area ( dummy payroll area which should not run payroll- when you create the payroll area you should not tick the check box) name it as "No Payroll" and activate the feature ABKRS to put all consultant / contractors in to that payroll area.

 

03. Keep your " time management status" as 7 for these employees which will not integrate into payroll but you can run time evaluation and record the attendance as well as OT.
